Salvador Dalí was one of the greatest artists of the 20th century and the precursor to surrealism. The Dalí Museum is located in his hometown of Figueres (130 km from Barcelona) that even the artist believed to be his last great masterpiece. It is located in the old theatre of Figueres, where Dalí himself transformed each of its corners into small parts of his unconscious.
