I began my career working in the tourism sector in 2003 and have continued to do so ever since. In 2013 I started guiding visitors from all over the world and I obtained the official guide accreditation of Catalonia in 2016, which allows me to be a guide in museums, monuments and heritage spaces. I am interested in art, history and culture in general, the reason why I began studying to obtain a triple university degree in History, Geography and Art History.
I am passionate about travel, doing it as much as and as far as I can. This has allowed me to learn to gain a global perspective of the world and humans, and the more I travel the more I realise the enormous wealth of where I was born and raised in terms of landscape, culture, customs, heritage, art and gastronomy. My profession offers me the option to travel from home through the eyes of visitors coming here, from whom I also learn new things every day.
I specialise mainly in private and small groups, which allows me to tailor and make the service more flexible to your liking. While I offer some of the most popular tours to Barcelona and Girona, I can also design tours tailored to your interests for one or several days, including everything you wish to visit, whether in Barcelona, Girona, the Costa Brava or Montserrat. In order to be respectful of the environment, most of my tours take place using public transportation, but some of my services involve cars with private drivers, upon request and reservation.
My intention is to allow you to get to know Catalan history, culture and customs from a local viewpoint, respecting the limits of the tourist impact of the area, to understand our origins and how our personality has developed over more than two thousand years of history. Thanks to the landscape, art, history and Catalan gastronomy you will be able to soak up all this legacy that will not fail to leave an impression on you.
