After having received several reconstructions throughout history, today they bet on a cultural, historical, gastronomic and artisan tourist offer.
Besalú also has an important Jewish legacy from which one of the oldest micvé in the area can be visited.
The visit of the medieval towns can be done in one day and can be combined with the visit of some places on the Costa Brava, the Dalí museum in Figueres or Girona city.
