Sagrada Familia Private Tour
Outside the Sagrada Família
Always wear comfortable shoes, hat and sunscreen and bring water during the months from May to September
The Sagrada Família is the masterpiece by the great architect Antoni Gaudí and the most visited monument in Spain. Under construction since 1882, its basilica is one of a kind worldwide, not only due to its original design and form, but also for its enormous complexity and architectural scope.
Taking a visit inside the most ambitious project of one of the most internationally recognised architects in history is a sensory experience that takes everyone’s breath away, regardless of where visitors are from, their religion and/or culture. A work inspired by nature that fuses two of Gaudí's great passions: God and architecture.
Different artists have been involved in this work throughout its construction, therefore the guided tour is a must to learn about the historical context and the reasons for its construction, as well as its evolution and adaptation to new times and different styles.
We will see the following throughout the tour:
- The nativity façade, the one that was designed, built and completed by Gaudí
- The interior of the temple with all its magnificence, spectacle of colours and symbolism
- The façade of passion and death that was designed by Josep Maria Subirachs
- The museum where we can observe the evolution of the construction to the present day through original photos, drawings and models.
Only official guides are accredited to guide visitors for the interior tour of the monument, who are also granted priority entry without having to queue with our bookings.
This tour can be made both in the morning and in the afternoon, seven days a week.
